Anything that takes a thing off its intended path to its designated destination is a distraction.
A thing not intended by God: (How things changed after the Garden of Eden for Mankind?) (Eve listened to Satan, and Adam listened to Eve that was the issue as they should of asked and sought after God first!)
1. Childbearing became difficult and then the man became ruler over the woman because her desire became to him. (They were supposed to work with one another and not her desire be like in his place.)
Genesis 3:16 KJV
[16] Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
2. Adam had to toil to work and growing crops was a challenge!
Genesis 3:17-19 KJV
[17] And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; [18] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; [19] In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
3. Then death came to mankind and the world:
Genesis 3:22 KJV
[22] And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Genesis 3:23-24 KJV
[23] Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. [24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Then they were cast out separated from God: (BUT THERE IS A REDEMPTION PLAN)
John 6:40 KJV
[40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Romans 5:8 KJV
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Philippians 2:13 KJV
[13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
