Proverbs 2:10-17 KJVS

[10] When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; [11] Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: [12] To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; [13] Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; [14] Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; [15] Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: [16] To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; [17] Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

Proverbs 18:15-16 KJVS

[15] The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. [16] A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Proverbs 18:19-24 KJVS

[19] A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle. [20] A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. [21] Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. [22] Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. [23] The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly. [24] A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Hosea 4:6-7 KJVS

[6] My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. [7] As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

Proverbs 24:5-28 KJVS

[5] A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. [6] For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. [7] Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate. [8] He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person. [9] The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. [10] If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. [11] If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; [12] If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it ? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it ? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? [13] My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: [14] So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. [15] Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: [16] For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. [17] Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: [18] Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. [19] Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; [20] For there shall be no reward to the evil man ; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. [21] My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: [22] For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? [23] These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. [24] He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: [25] But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them. [26] Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer. [27] Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. [28] Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.

Proverbs 8:10-36 KJVS

[10] Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. [11] For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. [12] I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. [13] The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. [14] Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. [15] By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. [16] By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. [17] I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. [18] Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. [19] My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. [20] I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: [21] That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. [22] The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. [23] I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. [24] When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. [25] Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: [26] While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. [27] When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: [28] When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: [29] When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: [30] Then I was by him, as one brought up with him : and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; [31] Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. [32] Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. [33] Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. [34] Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. [35] For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. [36] But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

Proverbs 15:14-33 KJVS

[14] The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. [15] All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. [16] Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. [17] Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. [18] A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife. [19] The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. [20] A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother. [21] Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. [22] Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. [23] A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it ! [24] The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. [25] The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow. [26] The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord : but the words of the pure are pleasant words. [27] He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live. [28] The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. [29] The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. [30] The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. [31] The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. [32] He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. [33] The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

Proverbs 12:1 KJVS

[1] Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

Psalm 119:66 KJVS

[66] Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
