Proverbs 20:5-13 KJVS

[5] Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out. [6] Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? [7] The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. [8] A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes. [9] Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? [10] Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the Lord. [11] Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

[12] The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them. [13] Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

[6] Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

[7] Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, [8] Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

[9] How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

[10] Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: [11] So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. [12] A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. [28] Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? [29] So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. [32] But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. [33] A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
