How a follower of God copes and adjusts to things in this world? How mercy and truth purge badness?

To deal and cope with unfavorable things is to know the purpose of God and How He is Faithful in His Promises. - G.S.MinistrDef
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

How mercy and truth purge out iniquity as God shows love covers the multitude of sins?

Proverbs 16:4-8 KJV

[4] The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. [5] Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. [6] By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. [7] When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. [8] Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Genesis 13:13-18 KJV

[13] But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. [14] And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: [15] For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. [16] And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. [17] Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. [18] Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.

Genesis 18:23 KJV

[23] And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Exodus 23:7 KJV

[7] Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
