How to deal by not letting negative talk and the urge “to fit in” get the better part of your being?
How to pull over discouragement and adjust? First realize nothing is too big for God! Friends in Christ, God created us unique and beautiful even the so called “flaws” can be perfected through Christ who strengthens, and that is done by studying and conforming to The Perfect Law of Liberty that Jesus Christ taught us in His Word. Remember, it is not about religion or being fancy, but the simplicity of thanksgiving in Christ.

How to know?
False evidence appearing real; mistaken or not?
“Earth is a place where a thing grows and the faith in God determines real success.” - G.S
The two types of waiting:
Either Resting On God or Waiting On The World That is Passing Away?
If you “wait in to fit in” a bias worldly system then the wait would be longing and never satisfied, but if you wait in by the rest of the Lord it is sweet. - G.S
How to know what to do according to what The Holy Scriptures teach?
Just because someone or something is indicating that you should or shouldn’t do something doesn’t necessarily mean it is right or wrong so one way to know is to sing the praises of God and see where His rest takes and shows:
Psalm 101:1-4 KJV
[1] I will sing of mercy and judgment:
unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.
[2] I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
[3] I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. [4] A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
When there is so much opposition what to consider?
How to overcome a setback and “get over it” as they say?
And Why look out for one the other?
It creates a balance instead of chaos the way the world says “oh well” or “everyone goes through something.”
Proverbs 25:21-23 KJV
[21] If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: [22] For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. [23] The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
Proverbs 25:18-20 KJV
[18] A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow. [19] Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint. [20] As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.
Proverbs 25:16-17,25 KJV
[16] Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it. [17] Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee. [25] As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
Proverbs 25:13-14 KJV
[13] As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters. [14] Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
Proverbs 25:9-11 KJV
[9] Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another: [10] Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away. [11] A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
Proverbs 25:24-28 KJV
[24] It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house. [25] As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. [26] A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring. [27] It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. [28] He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
