“Investing in a thing that evaporates is a bad long term plan, but a shrewd investment lasts time.

- G.S

Psalm 148:1-14 KJV

[1] Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights. [2] Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. [3] Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. [4] Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. [5] Let them praise the name of the Lord : for he commanded, and they were created. [6] He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. [7] Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: [8] Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word: [9] Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: [10] Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: [11] Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: [12] Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: [13] Let them praise the name of the Lord : for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. [14] He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 135:7 KJV

[7] He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

Job 36:4-33 KJV

[4] For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. [5] Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. [6] He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor. [7] He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. [8] And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; [9] Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. [10] He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. [11] If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. [12] But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. [13] But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them. [14] They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean. [15] He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression. [16] Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness. [17] But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee. [18] Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee. [19] Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength. [20] Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place. [21] Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction. [22] Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him? [23] Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity? [24] Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold. [25] Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off. [26] Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. [27] For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: [28] Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. [29] Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle? [30] Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea. [31] For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. [32] With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. [33] The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

Jeremiah 10:13 KJV

[13] When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Jeremiah 51:16 KJV

[16] When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Acts 2:19-35 KJV

[19] And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: [21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. [22] Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: [23] Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: [24] Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. [25] For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: [26] Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: [27] Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. [28] Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. [29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. [30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; [31] He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. [32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. [33] Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. [34] For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, [35] Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

James 4:14 KJV

[14] Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
