Put on a new mindset that is a skill set which is discipline.
Galatians 5:1 KJVS
[1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:2-26 KJVS — Meaning, vain unrighteous laws that contradict the ultimate fulfilled law of Christ that is His love, and understood grace it’s byproduct!
[2] Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. [3] For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. [4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. [5] For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. [6] For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. [7] Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? [8] This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. [9] A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. [10] I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. [11] And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. [12] I would they were even cut off which trouble you. [13] For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [15] But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. [16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. [17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. [18] But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. [24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. [25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. [26] Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Hebrews 12:11 KJVS
[11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Proverbs 12:1-28 KJVS
[1] Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. [2] A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord : but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. [3] A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. [4] A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. [5] The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. [6] The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. [7] The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. [8] A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. [9] He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. [10] A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. [11] He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. [12] The wicked desireth the net of evil men : but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit. [13] The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. [14] A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. [16] A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. [17] He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. [18] There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. [19] The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. [20] Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. [21] There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. [22] Lying lips are abomination to the Lord : but they that deal truly are his delight. [23] A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. [24] The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. [25] Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. [26] The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them. [27] The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. [28] In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
Revelation 3:18-22 KJVS
[18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. [19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. [20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. [21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. [22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
