“Staying glued down (meaning absolutely immobile) to anything is scary because it immobilizes;

when instead the Lord Jesus Christ wants us to stay mobile in and through Him and have fellowship with Him and each other.

In this age, it is easy to stay glued down to technology, whether it be a smart phone, TV, or computer. Instead of using these things for enhancement like a computing calculator that it was meant to be in the first place it has the high tendency of being used to keep a thing glued down and not socialize properly the way God intended communication to be that is when it becomes a problem.

[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Ephesians 5:11-16 KJV

[11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. [12] For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. [13] But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. [14] Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
