“Upright innovation is that which improves infrastructure so that a thing can work smoothly.” - G.S

Deuteronomy 9:5 KJV

[5] Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

1 Chronicles 29:17 KJV

[17] I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

Job 33:3-5 KJV

[3] My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. [4] The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. [5] If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

Psalm 25:9,19-22 KJV

[9] The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. [19] Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. [20] O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. [21] Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. [22] Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Psalm 111:8 KJV

[8] They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

Psalm 119:7-8 KJV

[7] I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. [8] I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

Psalm 143:10-12 KJV

[10] Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. [11] Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble. [12] And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

2 Samuel 22:16-51 KJV

[16] And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. [17] He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters; [18] He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me. [19] They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay. [20] He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me. [21] The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. [22] For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God. [23] For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. [24] I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. [25] Therefore the Lord hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. [26] With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. [27] With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. [28] And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. [29] For thou art my lamp, O Lord : and the Lord will lighten my darkness. [30] For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. [31] As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. [32] For who is God, save the Lord ? and who is a rock, save our God? [33] God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. [34] He maketh my feet like hinds' feet : and setteth me upon my high places. [35] He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. [36] Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. [37] Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. [38] I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them. [39] And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet. [40] For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. [41] Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. [42] They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the Lord, but he answered them not. [43] Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad. [44] Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me. [45] Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me. [46] Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places. [47] The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. [48] It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me, [49] And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. [50] Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name. [51] He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

1 Kings 3:6 KJV

[6] And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

1 Kings 9:4-28 KJV

[4] And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: [5] Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel. [6] But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: [7] Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: [8] And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house? [9] And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil. [10] And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the king's house, [11] ( Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. [12] And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not. [13] And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day. [14] And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold. [15] And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the Lord, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer. [16] For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife. [17] And Solomon built Gezer, and Beth-horon the nether, [18] And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land, [19] And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and cities for his chariots, and cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion. [20] And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel, [21] Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day. [22] But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen. [23] These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work. [24] But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Millo. [25] And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the Lord, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the Lord. So he finished the house. [26] And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom. [27] And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon. [28] And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

1 Chronicles 29:17-19 KJV

[17] I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee. [18] O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee: [19] And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

Ephesians 2:11-12 KJV

[11] Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Ephesians 2:13-22 KJV

[13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; [15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even by the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: [17] And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. [18] For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. [19] Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; [20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone ; [21] In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: [22] In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
