What is the difference between animal (or insect) instinct, flesh instinct, and the Spirit of Truth?

1 Peter 1:22-25 KJV

[22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: [23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. [24] For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: [25] But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

John 3:6-11 KJV

[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. [8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Isaiah 53:6-12 KJV

2 Timothy 4:17-22 KJV

Revelation 5:5 KJV

The difference between animal (or insects) “wisdom” in instinct that is given by God and human understanding is human understanding needs The Spirit of Truth to guide and that is what allows proper discernment. The Lord compares us to sheep as sheep need a Good Shepherd who is Jesus Christ. After the fall of man from the Garden of Eden animals took a predatory instinct as they had to prey for food and man kind became as like unto flesh as the grass withers away hence what a “dying” or “withering” away over a period of time. The good news and the gospel message of Jesus Christ is what gives us life and a second life instead of death and the second death according to The Holy Scriptures.
